Cedar Mill Cider Festival

Join us for the 18th celebration of food, music, history, and community at the JQA Young House and Park.
We are delighted to bring back our community celebration which began in 2007. This year the event will be held on a NEW day & time... Saturday, September 26 from 12-4pm.
See how the pioneers made cider with antique, hand-cranked presses, and sample the results. Boy Scout Troop 208 looks forward every year to running the presses to turn out free fresh cider from apples donated by Market of Choice. Grab a glass or two, you'll be amazed at the taste!
Listen to the Roots Americana music of Lauren Sheehan and her band. Enjoy a delicious BBQ lunch available for purchase from The Seasoned Spoon (BBQ sandwiches along with hotdogs for the kids). Find out more about Cedar Mill history and the plans for the historic JQA Young House. Browse booths and learn about local organizations from our Community Partners.
Plenty of tables are set up for you to enjoy your meal with your family, friends, and neighbors, while you listen to the music. And did you know there is a falls at the site? It is the only waterfall in eastern Washington County, and one of the only urban-area falls in Oregon. It is charming and accessible by a boardwalk - plan to take the short stroll and check it out!
There will also be THPRD's Rec Mobile providing games and activities for kids under the spreading hickory tree and several of the community booths will offer interactive games/activities for all.
