We're closing out 🌊Summer Splash🌊 back at Long Lake, the spot that kicked all this off. Sandy beach on the northeast corner, playground right there, and a calm no-motor lake that's perfect for wading. Close for our Sparta and Kent City crowd too.
Meet at the beach on the northeast corner, near the swim area and playground, around 11. Soft start, come whenever you can. Bring a lunch and settle in.
What to know:
🌿 Water day, swimsuits, towels, and a change of clothes for everybody
🌿 Free sandy beach with a playground right next to it
🌿 No lifeguards, so keep an eye on your own swimmers
🌿 No-motor lake, so it stays calm and quiet for wading
🌿 Two fishing areas and a launch for non-motorized boats, bring the kayak if you've got one
🌿 Restrooms by the beach
🌿 No dogs at the beach
🌿 Pack water, snacks, and sunscreen
🌿 No RSVP needed, just show up
🌿 Free, always
