Join us for the Cedar City Pollinator Festival! 🐝🌸 This family-friendly, two-day event is packed with hands-on learning, creative crafts, and outdoor exploration for all ages.
Here is what we have planned for June 16 & 17:
The Pollinator Hub Expo | 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
Location: SUU Natural History Museum & Pollinator Garden
Explore four interactive stations at your own pace:
Station 1 🔬 (Naturalist Journals): Examine insects and plants under microscopes and illustrate your own journal with help from expert scientists.
Station 2 🚰(Water-Wise Workshops): Master drip irrigation, mulching, and native plant propagation to build a sustainable backyard.
Station 3 🐝 (Kids’ Games & Crafts): Perfect for young conservationists! Build a backyard bee hotel and craft native wildflower seed bombs.
Station 4 📍(Map Your Magic): Add a pin to our giant Cedar City map to showcase your water-wise yard and help us track local habitat corridors.
Expert-Led Nature Hikes 🥾 | 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Location TBD, Transportation provided, limited number
As the sun sets, join specialized biologists for a guided ecological tour. Spot unique birds, native bees, and blooming desert flora while putting your new naturalist journal to good use!
