Founded in 1925, Byrd High School has been a pillar in the city of Shreveport. Many GRB employees graduated from Byrd, including co-founders Andrew and Lindsay Nations.
This year Byrd will celebrate it's 100th year and 1/29/25 is "Byrd Day" across the city - a day filled with camaraderie, nostalgia and celebrating!! Great Raft is honored to host a "kickoff" the day prior on 1/28/25 to start the celebration early, as well as share an exclusive live showing of the documentary trailer—don’t miss this special preview!
Whether you are a former student or friend of Byrd, we welcome you to join us in celebrating all that Byrd High School has achieved over the past century!
From 4-9 pm, $1 from every pint sold will be donated back to the C.E. Byrd Alumni Association.
