On Friday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m., the Copperbridge Foundation in North Miami will host an evening dedicated to contemporary art and publishing.
The event brings together three initiatives: the launch of CDQVA Art Magazine No. 33; the opening of "After Bullring", a solo exhibition by Cuban artist Juan Rivero; and the presentation of his artist’s book.
Issue 33 of the magazine features 28 articles exploring the diverse artistic languages within the Cuban and Hispanic-American art scenes, with a cover by Ivonne Ferrer. Its presentation in Miami follows an event held on November 3 at LaInmobiliaria Art Space in Madrid, and marks a new phase for the publishing project under the identity of CDQVA Contemporary Art.
The exhibition and book by Juan Rivero offer an insight into the work of this Cuban artist—who is based in Spain—and highlight CDQVA’s commitment to monographic publications, designed to delve into the careers and creative universes of contemporary artists.
