Coastal Carolina University's Cultural Arts Presents A Premium Event:
MUSIC ON THE LAWN
MYSTERY CHICKEN MUSIC FESTIVAL
The Music on the Lawn series introduces the inaugural Mystery Chicken Music Festival. This series of three events features live music under the stars, each with its own mysterious feathered twist as audience members guess at the whereabouts of the mystery chicken (Chauncey’s doppelgänger?)
Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, pack a picnic basket, and head to CCU's Prince Lawn for evenings of music, community, and Teal Nation pride.
Each concert begins at 6 p.m., and Friday’s concert will include on-site food trucks.
Come for the music. Stay for the mystery! This three-day music festival is FREE to attend, and open to the public!
Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2026: CCU Rock Band and CCU Country Band
Thursday, Oct. 1, 2026: CCU Jazz Combo and CCU R&B Ensemble
Friday, Oct. 2, 2026: PaperWork Band, and the Austin, Texas-based Shinyribs
