This musical adult comedy parody of iconic '80s sitcom 'The Golden Girls,' starring Drag Queens as the sassy seniors. Expect period fashion, petty fights, sex talk, cheesecake, group hugs, and songs.
The parody features book, music and lyrics by Nick Brennan and Luke Jones!

“Thank You for Being a Friend! – A GOLDEN GIRLS SPICY PARODY MUSICAL” is a LIVE send-up of TV’s The Golden Girls that includes an original pop score, a 1980’s fashion show, and the greatest moments from the original sitcom done with comedic adult themes & humor - This is not a kids show!
This live stage show follows your favorite, over-the-hill funny ladies from Miami; Thank You For Being a Friend, "four women over 60 (Blanchette, the varicose-veined vixen; Dorthea, the brainy ball-buster; Roz, the lovable airhead; and Sophie, the wisecracking spitfire) are spending their golden years together in a wicker-filled bungalow in Miami - as they prep for the annual Shady Oaks Retirement Home Talent Show.
But when gay pop superstar Ricky Martin moves next door, his loud outdoor questionable adult pool parties keep the quartet of cheesecake-loving retirees awake.
The solution pits the salsa king against the girls at the annual Shady Oaks Retirement Home Talent Show: if the women win, then no more parties; if the salsa king and his fan group garner top prize, the sassy seniors must serve as the party's clean-up crew. Singing, dancing and hilarity ensues!"
The only way the Golden Girls can win first prize is to pull out all their talent and beat him at his own showbiz game.
