CCMF BC: International Men's Day Watch Party
About this Event
This special event brings together inspiring speakers, meaningful conversations, and practical insights on men’s mental health, stigma, shame, relationships, and pathways to support. Watch remotely with CCMF BC as we connect with the broader CCMF community and recognize the importance of healthier men, healthier families, and healthier communities.
The event will feature Lorne from the Calgary Construction Association’s Tailgate Toolkit program, who will discuss addressing mental health and addiction stigma in the construction industry and encouraging men to seek help.
Harald Bettger will explore the impact of shame on men’s lives, relationships, and emotional well-being, sharing insights into how men can better understand and manage shame, build resilience, and regain a sense of control.
We will also hear from Kristopher Marks, founder of VIV Mental Health, who will share his perspective on men’s mental health and the importance of accessible support.
In addition, CCMF Alberta’s program leaders will highlight the programs and services available to support men and families in our communities.
