🚨CCIG presents SIMWARS 2025!🚨

What is SIMWars?🤔
SIM WARS is a simulation competition(war) where teams of students in groups of 4 (including a phase 1 student and a phase 3 - max 2 phase 3 students) compete in a series of critical care simulations. They must manage patients and will be scored by clinicians. The best team wins a prize on the day! but in our experience, everyone will still take home lots of valuable learning points, on top of having an excellent OSCE practice opportunity in the lead up to exam.

Who can attend SIMWars?
Any UOW med student in any phase is welcome to attend, we have limited spots so sign up quick!
How are the teams decided?
You can nominate your own teams within the rules and restrictions but if you do not have a team, we can put you into teams.
All teams of 4 need to have at least one phase 1 student and one Phase 3 student.
No more than 2 x phase 3 students
🥇 First in best dressed! we only have 28 spots (7 teams)
What happens if I have no or little clinical experience?
That is totally fine! We encourage any student interested to attend, regardless of experience, you will be paired with more experienced students and the more senior students will be your team leaders and can tell you what to do even if you don't know. These experiences will stay with you and you will learn a lot!
There is also the opportunity to volunteer if you don’t want to participate and still get to see what SimWars all about.
