CCHK Salon: “Historical Keyboarding in Action”

Isaac Dorio, Federico Ercoli, Ariel Mo, and Matías de Roux present research they have pursued over the course of “Historical Keyboarding,” a seminar taught by CCHK director Roger Moseley this semester. The salon will include music by Jan Ladislav Dussek, Robert Schumann, and Johannes Brahms played on Regier-Graf and Steinway pianos. It will also feature an introduction to the unique Moog-Rothenberg keyboard, which boasts 478 keys, and the performance of movements from a classical-style sonata devised by Moseley (on the CCHK’s Wolf-Schantz fortepiano) and Cornell violin professor Ariana Kim.
