Join CCFW on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Rotary Park for an engaging presentation on “The Endangered Smalltooth Sawfish.” Learn about the sawfish’s vital role in the Caloosahatchee River, the challenges it faces from coastal development, and why its survival is essential to the health of our local ecosystem. Marine scientist Joe Cavanaugh and Calusa Waterkeeper board member Dan Carney will share insights on sawfish conservation, habitat protection, and what we can do to support a healthier watershed. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., presentation begins at 7:00 p.m followed by the general business meeting.
