CCDP's Future Forward Saturday
Schedule
Sat Sep 20 2025 at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm
UTC-05:00Location
Coffee County Administrative Plaza | Manchester, TN
In light of recent events involving political violence, and for the safety of our members, our upcoming CCDP's Future Forward Saturday will be pushed back a week, from September 13th to September 20th. We hope that the added time will give the community some space to reflect and allow tensions to subside.
Also, since several of our town hall guest participants will be busy on September 20th, we've decided to move the town hall component of the event to our next Future Forward Saturday on Saturday, October 11th.
The Coffee County TN Democratic Party is committed to nonviolence, and we strongly condemn violent rhetoric and political violence from either side of the political spectrum. We urge our members to join us in de-escalation. We can stand firm in our values and criticize policies and beliefs, while also refraining from using insults and personal attacks on members of our own community. Let's bring down the temperature together.
Please stay safe, and we will see you all on Saturday, September 20th.
________
The Coffee County Democratic Party invites you to join us for our monthly Future Forward Saturday on September 20th from 10 am to 12 pm.
Hear from CCDP Chair Mike Stein about all of the new things that the CCDP is working on, engage with our officers, give feedback on how we can improve, and find out ways to get involved. Through these efforts, we hope to grow the party here in Coffee County, while helping those in our community.
We will also have an inspiring and educational keynote from our guest speaker, Chris Sanders, the Executive Director of the Tennessee Equality Project (TEP) and the Tennessee Equality Project Foundation.
The Tennessee Equality Project advocates for LGBTQ rights across the state through lobbying and legislative advocacy at both the state and local levels. The TEP foundation educates and empowers Tennesseans through workshops, voter registration, and public policy analysis. TEP also organizes major events like Boro Pride and runs programs like Tennessee Open For Business to support inclusive workplaces. Together, they ensure LGBTQ voices are heard and represented in government.
Don’t miss this chance to connect with fellow Democrats, learn about what the Coffee County Democratic Party has in store, engage with the party and our elected representatives, and be part of the movement for a brighter future. See you there!
