A play by Simon Stephens
Based on the novel by Mark Haddon
Christopher Boone, a 15-year-old has a mind for mathematics but struggles with the complexities of everyday life. He’s never gone beyond the end of his street alone, hates being touched, and is wary of strangers. However, when he discovers his neighbor’s dog, Wellington, dead with a garden fork sticking out of it, everything changes. It’s 7 minutes past midnight, and Christopher finds himself accused of the crime. Determined to uncover the truth, he begins an investigation that’s not just about solving a mystery but about pushing his own boundaries in ways he never imagined. As he meticulously records every clue, Christopher’s detective work—despite being forbidden by his father—takes him on a thrilling, life-altering journey.
