CCAR Recovery Coach Academy January 2027
About this Event
Recovery Coach Professional Training
Build the Skills to Help Others Move Toward Lasting Recovery
Join us for an intensive four-day Recovery Coach training designed to provide practical skills, professional knowledge, and ethical guidance for individuals working in recovery support and behavioral health.
The CCAR team created a training curriculum based on what they wanted to see in recovery coaches called, The Recovery Coach Academy (RCA). I chose this training for recovery coaching as it is the gold standard and have added additional curriculum on mental health, new age drug culture, professionalism, companion work and intervention.
In addition to the 4-day RCA (30 Continuing Education Credits), we also facilitate CCAR's Spirituality & Ethics models (what we call "CCAR Training Part II” (28 Continuing Education Credits), which is the additional 4-day training. When both the RCA and Spirituality & Ethics modules are completed, graduates are then qualified to apply for the Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) designation, which is a professionally recognized credential. CCAR courses also help you in working towards State certifications.
