SSR Mining’s Cripple Creek & Victor Gold Mine Veterans Business Resource Group is hosting a one-day charity cornhole tournament to benefit a local veterans' organization. The event will take place at the Cañon City Recreation Office, with check-in beginning at 11:00 AM and bags flying at 12:00 PM. Each team is guaranteed five games, including four Round Robin matches and entry into a single-elimination bracket. Round Robin games will be played to 21 points (win by two, going over allowed). Elimination rounds will be best-of-three, and the championship match will be best-of-five. Teams consist of two players (non-gender specific, no age requirements), and no alternates are allowed. This is a B.Y.O.B. (bring your own bags) event. The tournament is limited to 25 teams, so early registration is encouraged.
