About this Event
CBIC, Central Virginia SBDC, and The Creator Hub are teaming up to lead a hands‑on training designed to empower non‑technical business leaders to create a working Minimum Viable Product (MVP) SaaS application that solves a specific business problem.
The training will:
- Show entrepreneurs how to create a product requirements document in a format that is easily absorbed by an AI coding tool. This is essentially getting your product idea, described in plain English, into a format that an AI tool can code from.
- Describe the advantages / disadvantages of leading AI coding platforms in attempt to help attendees select the best tool for their specific task
- Give feedback on the viability / difficulty of each attendee’s idea and offer some ad hoc tips on how they could structure their requirements document.
- Demonstrate in real time how a coding platform can read a PRD and produce code.
- Offer tips on how to modify your application and identify / fix coding errors without actually writing (or even understanding) any code
- Instruct participants on how output code can be stored in a secure repository
- Discuss how a non-technical creator can work with a technical team to get their project production ready and deployed.
