Get ready for the ultimate outdoor experience with Nevada Outdoor School’s Pathfinder Camp, designed for campers ages 11–13! This week-long adventure offers a traditional camping experience at Cave Lake State Park, combining outdoor skills, exploration, and unforgettable memories.Campers will meet at the NOS offices in Winnemucca and Elko before heading out to Cave Lake. Once there, they’ll hike scenic trails, explore alpine meadows, try fishing, and participate in hands-on activities that teach Leave No Trace principles, wildlife observation, and environmental stewardship.
Evenings are spent around the campfire, sharing stories, learning camping skills, and experiencing the magic of sleeping under the stars. Pathfinder Camp encourages independence, teamwork, and confidence while immersing campers in Nevada’s high-desert and alpine landscapes.
