Grandma's Pumpkin Patch is hosting a hoof trimmer for local 4-H and cattle owners that need hooves trimmed. **** Please note, this event is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, you must have a cattle getting trimmed to attend ******* For the safety of the cattle and the people in attendance, this event will not be open to the public.
The hoof trimmer will be coming to Grandma's Pumpkin Patch to trim cattle hooves.
The hoof trimming chute DOES NOT turn the animal on it’s side, it lifts the animal. Picture shown is of the actual chute being used.
This is for cattle only. Breeding stock, dairy and beef cattle welcome.
Cattle must weigh 800 pounds or more to fit in the chute.
You do not have to be in 4H to utilize this service. You must be able to lead the animal into the chute, we do not have a corral area that is fenced in.
Appointments starting at 9:45am. The cost is $25 per animal plus a $15 farm call per person.
This is not limited to Midland County, other county residents can attend. YOU MUST MAKE AN APPOINTMENT to attend, we will not be accepting drop in appointments. Please call or text Amanda at 989-513-5222 to make an appointment.
