Cathedral Kitchen's 50th Anniversary Community Celebration

This year, Cathedral Kitchen is celebrating 50 years of serving the Camden community with dignity, compassion, and hope. To mark the milestone, Cathedral Kitchen will host a free community block party on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at its facility located at 1514 Federal Street in Camden presented by Subaru.
The celebration will feature free food prepared by Cathedral Kitchen’s culinary team and Culinary Arts Training Program alumni, including Maria Station Café, Foreign Flavors, and Chef Bu Catering. Guests will also receive free groceries, enjoy live music, and a DJ set by Mr. Hollywood DJ, best known as the in-arena host for the Philadelphia Flyers. Family-friendly activities will include games, face painting, giveaways, and more, bringing together community members, volunteers, alumni, and neighbors to celebrate 50 years of impact.
Community health and nutrition resources will be available from Virtua, including Pediatric Mobile Services and free glucose and blood pressure screenings. Virtua’s Eat Well Mobile and Sharing Excess will distribute fresh produce. The Center for Aquatic Sciences CAUSE Teen Program will also host an interactive activity where attendees can safely pet horseshoe crabs and starfish while learning more about marine life.
