Mississippi’s favorite music festival is back with an exciting lineup, local flavors, and a mission to support music education across the state.
Cathead Distillery, Mississippi’s first and oldest legal distillery, proudly announces the return of Cathead Jam on Friday, June 6 & Saturday, June 7, 2025. The highly anticipated two-day festival will once again transform the distillery grounds into a vibrant celebration of live music, local food and drinks, and community — all in support of expanding access to music education in underserved communities across Mississippi.

SUPPORTING MISSISSIPPI MUSIC
Cathead Jam is not just a festival—it’s a movement. Owned by Dreamnote Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit founded in 2022 by Cathead Distillery Co-Founders Richard Patrick and Austin Evans, alongside longtime friend and music advocate Arden Barnett, the festival channels 100% of proceeds directly into expanding music education programs in Mississippi’s underserved communities.
“Dreamnote’s mission to ensure musical access to all children in our State, was started by three music lovers ingrained in Mississippi.” said Dreamnote Board Member B Jones. “It’s driven by their love to gather people and keep it going down the road for the future. ”

About Cathead Distillery
The first legal distillery in the state of Mississippi, Cathead was founded in 2010 by friends and blues fans, Austin Evans and Richard Patrick. Located in the heart of downtown Jackson, the distillery currently produces eight award-winning, small-batch spirits—Cathead Original Vodka, Cathead Honeysuckle Vodka, Cathead Satsuma Mandarin Vodka, Cathead Raspberry Vodka, Bristow Gin, Hoodoo Chicory Liquor, and Old Soul Bourbon Whiskey—as well as a line of canned cocktails, Cathead Sparkling.
