Catharsis is an exhibition of art and poetry expressing the emotions of a turbulent time, including both the pain and the purpose, when living with joy is a revolutionary act. This show invites artists and poets to share work rooted in deep emotion, reflection, healing, resistance, love, fear, and hope. The theme is a starting point, catharsis can mean release, reckoning, celebration, or survival.The exhibition runs March 21 through April 24 at Eclipse Center for Creative Community, 30 Vine Street in Lansdale, PA.
Join us for the Opening Reception on Saturday, March 21 from 6:30–8:30 PM, with a poetry reading at 7:00 PM.
Submissions are accepted through February 28. Artists will be notified on March 2. Art drop-off will take place March 6 and 7.
