Catching School | 2-Week Class (Ages 10-12U)
Program Description:
Learn the most important position on the field! Our Catching School teaches young baseball and softball players the core skills of being behind the plate - from proper stance and receiving techniques to communication and throwing mechanics. This 2-week program focuses on fun-focused learning and positive coaching that helps kids develop a love for this exciting position.
This is about giving kids the fundamental tools to enjoy catching while building confidence and skills. Whether your child is curious about the position or wants to improve their current abilities, this class provides take-home drills and techniques that help them continue learning and getting better long after the sessions end!
Program Details
Format: 2-Week Class (2 sessions total)
Ages: 10-12U baseball and softball players
Duration: 75 minutes per session
Group Size: 6 slots available for personalized instruction (1 slot allows for 2-participants)
Experience Level: All levels welcome - no catching experience required
Equipment Needs: If you have catchers gear, bring it! If not, it is not required.
Location: SkanStrength

What to Bring:
Baseball gloves for both players (catchers gloves if you have them), athletic clothes, water bottles, and positive attitudes! No cleats. Don't have catching equipment? No problem! You can learn without it.
