APA is thrilled to invite you to a brand-new, family-friendly fundraising event Catapawlooza Silent Auction & Sundae Barwhich will be held Sunday, August 17 from 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the APA Shelter, 3808 Hamburg Pike, Jeffersonville, Indiana
Join us in the beautiful backyard of the APA shelter for an afternoon of fun, fundraising, and feline festivities!
This year’s event features:
- A silent auction (bidding begins online and wraps up at the event!)
- Mystery pulls
- 50/50 raffle
- Ice cream sundae bar with all the toppings
- Meet-and-greets with adoptable kittens
- Family activities including storytelling, games, shelter tours, and a lesson on caring for your new cat or kitten
- A free stuffed cat toy for each child attendee!
Tickets are $10 adults and $8 for children age 12 and under. Tickets will be available on APA’s website starting July 17 at apa-pets.org.
This event replaces our former “Kitties and Cocktails” fundraiser, while keeping the much-loved silent auction element. By moving the auction online, more supporters can participate, even before the event begins.
With APA taking in close to 200 cats and kittens each year, fundraisers like Catapawlooza are vital to us. Without these funds, we would have to stop providing our much-needed rescue services to the community.
Every cat or kitten rescued by APA receives a full veterinary exam, vaccinations, microchipping, testing for FIV/FeLV, deworming, and spay/neuter surgery. It costs APA approximately $180 to prepare each cat for adoption, though our adoption fee is only $80—your support helps bridge that gap.
