Catalyst Cafe
About this Event
This conversation will focus on United Way’s impact area of Youth Opportunity exploring what it takes for every child and young person to thrive.
At this Catalyst Café, we'll examine the data behind these realities, hear about the needs of local youth and working families, and explore how economic stability is deeply connected to outcomes for children. Together, we'll discuss how cross-sector partnerships, community leadership, and collective action can create pathways to opportunity for every young person in our community.
New research from United For ALICE reveals that many children are growing up in households where families work hard every day yet still struggle to afford basic necessities like housing, food, transportation, and health care. In fact, millions of children live in households experiencing financial hardship, creating barriers that can impact educational success, well-being, and future opportunities.
Join fellow community leaders, advocates, educators, business partners, and residents for an engaging conversation about moving beyond awareness toward solutions. Because when we understand the challenges facing working families and use data to guide our efforts, we can build a community where all children have the support and opportunities they need to reach their full potential.
