Join CATA for the official reveal of the new CATAArt bus wrap, featuring artwork created by local Kindergarten–5th Grade students around the theme “Connecting Our Community.” One winning piece from each grade was selected by SCASD art instructors and then incorporated into a full bus design that will serve the Centre region from May to November.The event will include remarks from State College Mayor Ezra Nanes and representatives from CATA and the State College Area School District art department. All students, families, and community members are invited to attend and celebrate the creativity of young local artists.
Contest winners will also receive art supply kits and prizes donated by Discovery Space and Centre Elite Gymnastics. CATA staff will be on-site to assist families interested in the Youth Summer Pass, which provides free rides for ages 18 and under from May through August.
