Take a moment to slow down, breathe, and simply be… surrounded by cats 🐾
On May 2nd at 9am, I’ll be guiding a gentle breathwork and meditation session inside the cat palace at the Animal Shelter Bonaire.
This is a calm and intimate moment, both for you and for the animals. A space where there is no pressure to do anything, just an invitation to arrive, to soften, and to reconnect with your breath.
And around you… cats moving freely, resting, observing, maybe coming to sit next to you. Just sharing the space as we are.
This session is beginner friendly and open to anyone who feels the need to slow down, regulate the nervous system, and take a break from the constant doing.
We are also here to support something much bigger.
Animal Shelter Bonaire has been caring for animals in need since 1983, offering shelter, medical care, and working on long term solutions through education and sterilisation.
Part of the donations will support the TNR program (Trap, Neuter, Release), led on Bonaire by Flamingo Veterinary Center and the Traveling Animal Doctor.
This program plays a key role in reducing the stray cat population in a humane and sustainable way, while improving the health and lives of the cats on the island.
𝐵𝑦 𝑗𝑜𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑛𝑔, 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑎𝑟𝑒 𝑑𝑖𝑟𝑒𝑐𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑠𝑢𝑝𝑝𝑜𝑟𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑔:
• Sterilisation and castration of stray cats
• Care and recovery
• Adoption efforts
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔:
• A mat and/or towel
• A block or cushions to sit comfortably

Our goal is to bring awareness to the animal welfare on Bonaire and the associations working hard to help these animals.
Animal Shelter Bonaire is offering the space and volunteers free of charge for this fundraiser and I am offering my teaching free of charge.
