First, join a board-certified veterinary behaviorist and Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine Julia Albright as we explore the truths behind cat behavior, what’s real, what’s myth, and what your cat might be thinking. Then, bring out your inner cat with Improv Knoxville! Want to act out a cartoon version? Want to include what you just learned? Let’s have fun bringing one of our favorite furry friends to life.
About the facilitators:
Julia Albright is a board-certified veterinary behaviorist and Associate Professor at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. As a veterinary professor, Dr. Albright teaches veterinary students about animal behavior, researches new treatments for anxiety, and helps families in the community address behavior problems in their cats and dogs.
Taylor Wingerter has been improvising since 2007 and instructing since 2010 in Denver at the Bovine Metropolis Theater (closed in 2020) and then Rise Comedy. She trained at the Groundlings Theatre in Los Angeles and has been teaching improv in Knoxville since 2024 . You can see her performing with Pretend Friends Improv and facilitating improv workshops for adults and children nationally. Owner of Manatee Vanity Improv
