Join husband-and-wife duo Katherine Liccardo and Matt Consul as they take you on a musical journey that blends traditional and original Celtic tunes, soulful original songs, Brazilian choro, Bach, Nirvana, and more.
Katherine and Matt first met while playing classical string quartets in the woods of Blue Hill, Maine, and have been weaving diverse musical paths together for over 11 years. Matt, a violist with the Portland Symphony and a dedicated teaching artist, brings classical artistry to life, while Katherine, associate director of the Vigorous Tenderness concert series, inspires students around the globe with her violin and viola instruction. Together, they perform with Shelter Music Maine, bringing the power of music to communities in need.
