This "performance sport cluster" features 3 days of AKC Coursing Ability Tests, Fast CAT, Fetch, Fit Dog Walks, CGC/Trick testing, and NADD dock diving (***regional qualifier***) all at the same location! There is a pet-friendly hotel (Hampton Inn) only 5 minutes away (mention Montgomery Kennel Club for a discount)... or if camping is more your style there's a nice RV park right across the street.
The city of Wetumpka was featured on HGTV's "Hometown Takeover" and has plenty of stuff to see while you're here. Enjoy the view of the Coosa River at Gold Star Park, take your dog hiking at historical Fort Toulouse, or visit some of the restaurants and shops downtown (including "For Healthy Pets," a locally-owned pet supply store).
