Did you know that August 8, 2026, is International Cat Day? As fellow feline enthusiasts, we're thrilled to present our ninth annual race in honor of cats: the Cat Day 1M, 5K, 10K, 13.1, 26.2! Join us and celebrate these incredible creatures!

We're proud to announce that 15% of each registration for this race will be donated to Best Friends Animal Society, which is the healing home for up to 1,600 dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, horses, pigs and other animals.

In alignment with International Cat Day on August 8th, we encourage you to sign up and complete your race anytime throughout the month of August. - Races can be completed at your convenience anytime in August or September 2026, allowing for flexibility in scheduling.

- Choose from five distances: 1 mile, 5K, 10K, 13.1, or 26.2. Select the distance that suits your preference and fitness level.

- This virtual race is suitable for participants of all ages, making it a delightful event for the whole family.

- A percentage of your race registration fees will be donated directly to Best Friends Animal SocietyTo ensure you receive your race essentials promptly, medals and bibs will begin shipping in May 2026. If you sign up after that date, they will ship within 2 to 5 days of your registration.

What is a Virtual Race?

A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with friends! And your medal will be shipped directly to you. Complete a virtual 5Ks, 10K, half marathon and more!
