Casual Fifth is a Philadelphia-based Taiko drumming and American modern dance ensemble founded in 2020 by Maine natives Mac Evans and Alex Pfister.
The group blends the powerful rhythms of traditional Japanese ensemble drumming (kumidaiko) with contemporary dance choreography.
Casual Fifth creates energetic and visual performances that combine traditional Japanese festival drumming styles with synchronized physical movement.
This is going to be a wild show that you will not want to miss.
To top off the evening The Mallett Brothers Band will kick off the 'Downtown Summer Concert Series' at 7pm
