Founded in 1970 by legendary violinist Charles Castleman, the Castleman Quartet Program has earned an international reputation for cultivating exceptional young chamber musicians through intensive study, collaboration, and performance. With a remarkable legacy of alumni performing in major orchestras, professional chamber ensembles, and arts organizations around the world, CQP continues to inspire the next generation of artists. This summer, CQP alumni Dr. John Fadial and Dr. Beth Vanderborgh, UW's Professors of Violin and Cello, respectively, are excited to bring the program to Laramie for CQPW's inaugural season. Audiences will have the opportunity to hear these outstanding young musicians at the Albany County Public Library, showcasing the extraordinary talent, artistry, and energy that define the Castleman Quartet Program experience.
