One of our most iconic #TeamVelindre events, Castle 2 Castle’s 10.5-mile route takes place between two of South Wales’s most stunningly scenic castles – Caerphilly to Cardiff. An event full of fun, community, togetherness, and dedication – it truly is a magical day in our event calendar.
Last year, we saw over 1,500 runners take part – smashing our previous record! And it was a record-breaking year across the board, as we also reached a staggering fundraising milestone of £151,000!
100% of the funds raised from this event benefit the work of Velindre Cancer Service helping to fund 50% of specialist nurses, children and family resources, psychology and counselling support for patients, clinical trials, ground-breaking research and much more.
