In Italy, it is a tradition to roast chestnuts in the fall. There is even a traditional social event, called La Castagnata, which is something the Italo-Canadian Club of Kingston hosts each year, welcoming members and guests to enjoy freshly roasted chestnuts while sipping on wine and socializing with family and friends.The bar will be open, offering specialty Christmas Cocktails (and regular bar staples), and a complimentary coffee/tea/hot chocolate station will be set-up for anyone to enjoy.
Last year, we combined this annual event with a Christmas Market and it was a success, so we're doing it again!

Christmas Carolers from the award-winning Greater Kingston Chorus will be making appearances between 12pm-2pm. 🎵
Freshly roasted chestnuts will be available for purchase and eating in the Saletta from 1pm-3pm. (Free to ICC Members. Price TBD for non-members.)
In addition to all of the local vendors present, our frozen food products will also be available to purchase and take home.

We have 8 different flavours of hot cocoa bombs; individually wrapped, boxes of 4 or with a Christmas mug! We also have candy smashers! They are individually wrapped and come with their own hammers! 🍫 🔨
- Painted Palette Artworks: I am a self-taught watercolour artist and I specialize in creating unique, original bookmarks, greeting cards, and paintings of various sizes. My art is colourful, whimsical, and is all about adding joy to your life. 🖼️
- Chained Essentials: I am a local Chainmaille artist specializing in hand-woven jewelry crafted from aluminum and stainless steel. I offer a diverse range of products, including earrings, pendants, bracelets, and more. ⛓️

- HONIGMANN APIARIES: Local honey. Family-operated company offering a variety of delicious Kingstonian honey, original pure beeswax candles and honey skin care.
- Hi-Vibe Designs: Hi- Vibe Designs creates colourful crocheted baskets – both large and small – for corralling your clutter as well as handbags for special occasions, and market shopping bags.
- VMR Soap: We sell homemade bath and body products ranging from soap, body balms to epsom salts and bath teas.
