In late 2020, Cassandra was battling stage four esophageal cancer and had been unable to eat for 45 days. During a hospital stay that December, she had a near-death experience. She left her body and was met by Light and the presence of Spirit. Within days, her doctors found that the tumor in her esophagus was gone, and her cancer markers dropped so sharply that the lab rechecked the result. Five years after first sharing her story with Seattle IANDS, Cassandra returns to revisit that experience and share what came after: how it reshaped her faith, her relationships and her career. She wiil also talk about writing her memoir, "I Wasn't Done Yet," and what it has meant to keep living into the expansion that began on the other side.
