Casino - volunteers needed
Hello everyone - now that the party weekend is over, it’s time to think of the upcoming casino!
Money raised from the casino event is very important for supporting events and activities at the Hall!
📍 Happening on Aug 15 & 16 (Sat and Sun) at Grand Villa Casino (10204-104 Ave) in Roger’s Place.
🚗 So far there are no other events that weekend, and volunteers should be able to park for free on the 1st level of the adjoining parkade (just have to register your license plate inside the casino). This will be confirmed closer to the date.
📑 If you sign up for a “key” position (Gen Mgr, Banker, Cashier, Count Room Supervisor), you will also need to fill out a Casino Volunteer Worker Form from AGLC.
This will be emailed to you - you can fill it out online and return it to the hall or you print it and bring it with you to the casino.
However we do need at least 5 key positions filled BEFORE June 15 so we can submit them with the license application, please.
You can volunteer for one day or both days, but if both, it must be in the same role.

Olá a todos — agora que o fim de semana de festa já passou, está na altura de começar a pensar no próximo casino!
O dinheiro angariado através deste evento de casino é muito importante para apoiar os eventos e as atividades do Salão!
📍 **Dias 15 e 16 de agosto (sábado e domingo)** no **Grand Villa Casino (10204-104 Ave)**, em **Roger’s Place**.
🚗 Até ao momento não há outros eventos nesse fim de semana, e os voluntários deverão poder estacionar gratuitamente no 1.º piso do parque de estacionamento adjacente (basta registar a matrícula no interior do casino). Esta informação será confirmada mais perto da data.
📑 Se se inscrever para uma função “chave” (Diretor-Geral, Banqueiro, Caixa ou Supervisor da Sala de Contagem), terá também de preencher um **Formulário de Trabalhador Voluntário de Casino da AGLC**.
Este formulário será enviado por e-mail — pode preenchê-lo online e devolvê-lo ao salão, ou imprimi-lo e levá-lo consigo para o casino.
No entanto, precisamos de ter **pelo menos 5 funções-chave preenchidas até 15 de junho**, para que possamos submetê-las juntamente com o pedido de licença.
Pode ser voluntário durante um dia ou durante os dois dias, mas, se participar em ambos os dias, terá de desempenhar a mesma função.
