We’re incredibly excited to welcome Macon’s own Cash’s Juke Joint to Lakeside Lounge Speakeasy! They’re bringing their own style of soul-stirring, burn it down, juke joint rowdiness to help you remember how good it is to have a mighty fine time. If you don’t understand what a throw down is – well – you’re about to learn.
Good luck keeping count of how many instruments Angel plays in a set. We’re grateful to have them join us before they head back overseas and all around the country.
Angel Ocasio Jr. is a Georgia-grown artist whose sound is rooted in the church and shaped by sacred steel, soul, and blues.
From learning music at age seven to leading Cash's Juke Joint today, his journey has taken him from church assemblies to major stages across the country. Angel and his collective have headlined festivals like Cherry Blossom, King Biscuit, and Deep Blues, while also sharing stages with icons including Patti LaBelle, The O’Jays, and The Legendary Wailers.
In a city known for its musical legacy, Angel continues to show that Macon’s sound is still very much alive.
