VHS/DVD video cameras, camera bags, tripods, most darkroom equipment, lighting equipment, most Polaroid cameras, and broken or damaged items.

📍 How Does It Work?
1️⃣ Bring your gear to Dan’s Camera City (1439 W Fairmont St, Allentown, PA 18102) and let an associate know you’re there for the buying event. You’ll be directed to our classroom, where you can take a number and wait for your turn. Your number saves your place in line, so feel free to shop the store, visit with our brand reps, and check out gear while you wait.
2️⃣ Once your number is called, our buyers will evaluate your equipment and make you an offer.
3️⃣ Choose how you’d like to be paid: take payment by check, or take the Dan's voucher to the front counter to put the value toward new gear or store credit and receive a 10% bonus!
💰 How Do I Get Paid?
✔️ Trade-in for store credit = Get 10% more value! If your gear is valued at $1,000, you’ll receive an extra $100 to use at Dan’s! Your bonus voucher can be applied to your account or converted to a Dan’s gift card and cannot later be redeemed for cash.
✔️ Selling your gear? We’ll cut you a check on the spot for the agreed-upon value.
✔️ Upgrading? Use your trade-in credit the same day toward cameras and lenses, and take advantage of exclusive in-store discounts from your favorite brands!
