Ready to make a lasting impact in a child’s life? Join our next Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer Training and be the voice for a child in foster care.
During this comprehensive training, you’ll learn how to:
✅ Advocate for a child’s best interests in court
✅ Understand the child welfare system
✅ Communicate effectively with families and professionals
✅ Write impactful court reports
✅ Build resilience and trauma-informed care skills
🗓 Training Dates: 9/26, 10/10, 10/24 & 11/7
📍 Location: 531 Washington Street, Suite 4124, Watertown, NY 13601
🕘 Time: 9am-2pm
There will be online pre-work required between each session and you MUST attend all 4 sessions to complete the required hours.
No prior experience is necessary—just a heart for children and a commitment to making a difference. Once trained and sworn in, you’ll be paired with a child or sibling group and supported every step of the way by our CASA staff.
