CASA 30th Anniversary Celebration

It is with great pleasure that CASA of the 2nd Judicial District prepares to celebrate 30 years of serving children in foster care in Craighead, Greene, Poinsett and Mississippi counties.

During the past 30 years, we have provided advocacy in the court system for over 2500 children, helping them find safe and permanent homes.

Training and supporting our volunteer advocates wouldn’t be possible without the support of local community leaders and businesses like yours.

To celebrate our 30 years of service, we’re hosting a 30th Anniversary Celebration lunch on Tuesday, April 1, from 11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m at Embassy Suites, Arvest ballroom. Planning is underway with the following events scheduled:

• Mayor Harold Copenhaver to proclaim April as Child Abuse and Prevention Month,
• Musical Performances by Henry Cavanaugh and Children of Elevate
• Keynote speaker about the effect of CASA on the lives of children in foster care
• Drawing for Memphis Redbirds Raffle
