Cary Novotny Record Release Party

Cary Novotny was born in Yankton, South Dakota and later moved to Bowling Green Kentucky at the age of 12, where he began studying classical guitar and absorbing the music of the region, namely country, folk, and bluegrass music.
Over the last 3 decades, Novotny maintained a busy schedule as a guitarist in the world of Celtic, folk and Americana music and has recorded and performed with many other notable musicians.
Cary returns to his hometown to perform songs from his new recording "My Lost Soul," which tells tales from his childhood in the Great Plains and celebrates the ethos, longing and dreams that unfold under the backdrop of the big skies of the west and middle America.
Rich Mossman produced "My Lost Soul" in Nashville, Tennessee, recruiting a cast of all-star and legendary performing and studio musicians from the Nashville recording scene.
Novotny is thrilled to come full circle and perform his songs, crafted over much of his lifetime, in his beloved hometown of Yankton, South Dakota.
