Marking the opening of CARTIER, hear from two internationally renowned jewellery experts, as Pierre Rainero, Cartier’s Director of Image, Style and Heritage joins Helen Molesworth, Senior Curator of Jewellery at the V&A, for a conversation led by NGV Senior Curators Dr Miranda Wallace and Amanda Dunsmore.
Discover the story behind Cartier from its founding in Paris in 1847 through to the present day and its enduring legacy in art, design and craftsmanship. Through an illustrated conversation drawing on rich archival material, learn about Cartier’s pioneering technical innovations and superlative design and craftsmanship, as we take a close look at their most iconic motifs and famous pieces such as the panther, the tiaras and timepieces.
