The Coastal Environmental Partnership (CEP) is a public solid waste management authority that serves Carteret, Craven, and Pamlico counties. CEP provides residents with an environmentally sound and cost-effective system of solid waste disposal, and sponsors a series of household hazardous waste collection days in each of the three counties.ACCEPTED:
-Cooking Oil
-Drain openers
-Batteries
-Automotive fluids
-Pesticides, fertilizers
-Paint: latex* and oil based, paint thinners (dried latex paint may be disposed of via normal waste collection).
NON-ACCEPTED MATERIALS:
-Commercial waste
-Infectious, biological, or radioactive wastes
-Explosives
-Ammunition
-Mystery cans: Everything must be labeled or easily identified
