Carter Playdate is a monthly program for children, ages 3–5 years old, and their favorite grown-up.
About this Event

Crowns, torches, tablets, and more. What do the Statue of Liberty’s symbols mean to you? We’ll read Light for All by Margarita Engle, look and learn in the galleries, and create our own symbolic artworks inspired by The Statue of Liberty from Bartholdi to Warhol.


Join us each month for Carter Playdate, our free event for children ages 3 to 5 and their families.


American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation may be provided during this event upon advance request. Please send us an email [email protected] for more information.
