Carter Pinholster, a singer-songwriter from Fort Payne, Alabama, left on a full-ride Division I football scholarship to Georgia, but soon realized his true passion was country music. Two years ago, he walked away from football to audition for American Idol, an experience that confirmed his calling. Since then, he’s been writing, recording, and building his music catalog. His debut single, Whenever We’re Alone, is now streaming—just the beginning of what’s to come.
