Hey there skaters and CVR fans, we have some incredibly exciting news!:The Carson Victory Rollers are preparing to compete in our 4th consecutive USARS Nationals Tournament in 2026! With that goal in mind, CVR is holding team tryouts in January (18th & 25th) thru March 29th!
**No USARS experience necessary for skaters to tryout!**
We are ecstatic to be sending our team to the USARS National tournament this year, and we want to give all the amazing roller derby players in our region a chance to join us in this extraordinary opportunity to become a National champion!

FAQ:
Q: I play WFTDA roller derby, is USARS that much different?
A: No, the majority of your WFTDA skills will benefit you! The rules are different, but it's still roller derby at it's core. Bring your skates and gear, we will teach you the rest!
Q: I'm not from the Carson City area, can I still tryout for the team?
A: Absolutely! We want to invite skaters from all of the neighboring states to come tryout for our team, practice and learn alongside us, and skate for a chance to compete on the National stage in 2026!
Q: I'm part of a WFTDA charter team, what if there are scheduling conflicts?
A: CVR will reasonably work with you to accommodate your derby schedule. As a USARS charter, your participation shouldn't conflict with your WFTDA league!
