What happens when someone is pushed too far?
This November, Ferrell Studios Community Theatre presents CARRIE: THE MUSICAL, based on Stephen King's iconic novel, at the Plainfield Performing Arts Center.
Carrie White has always been an outsider. At school, she's relentlessly bullied. At home, she lives under the control of her deeply religious mother. But Carrie is hiding something extraordinary: a mysterious power she is only beginning to understand.
When an unexpected invitation to prom offers Carrie the chance to finally belong, she begins to imagine a different life. What follows is a haunting collision of hope, humiliation, power, and revenge.
Featuring a thrilling contemporary score and an intensely emotional story, CARRIE: THE MUSICAL brings Stephen King's unforgettable story to the stage in a bold, electrifying theatrical experience.
Directed by Kristin Field and Noah Manno, CARRIE opens Ferrell Studios' fifth season, RECKONING.
