Carrie Marshall is known for her expressive, warm vocals, piano-driven melodies, and emotionally rich storytelling. With a style rooted in jazz phrasing, her soulful, organic instrumentation and strong singer-songwriter sensibilities seamlessly blend influences from pop, soul, gospel, and country into her music.Carrie was voted Top Charlotte Vocalist and has received multiple songwriting honors, including NC Songwriter Co-Op Songwriter of the Year, the Bronze Award for Best Cover (“Jolene”), and recognition as a Top 10 Finalist in the UK Songwriter’s Competition. She was also nominated twice for Best Musical Score for her moving instrumental compositions with classical undertones in the feature film Changeover.
