March 14th through March 15th Hobby Time RC will be hosting the 2nd annual Carpet Fools Championship Race. This will be 1 full day of optional practice and 2 days of racing. All ages are welcomed to race or spectate. Listed below will be further details.WHERE:
The new Hobby Time RC store. Located at 2701 Old Airport Road, Great Falls, MT.
RACE SCHEDULE:
Day 1 March 13th: Will be open track practice for racers only. The track will be open for practice from 11AM to 10PM.
Day 2 March 14th: Doors open at 7AM. Racing begins at 9AM. Saturday will contain of 3 qualifying rounds.
Day 3 March 15th: Doors open at 7AM. Racing begins at 9AM. Sunday will be the start of mains. These will consist of 5 minute mains with 2 bumps. A mains will be 6 minute Triple A mains.
NEW CLASS: 1/10 scale 2WD 21.5T Buggy KIT SPEC
(KIT SPEC Requirements: Hobbywing XR10 Justock G3S Sensored Brushless ESC/ SD G2.1 Motor Combo (21.5T)(Part #38020373), 1,474 grams minimum weight requirement, 8.4 max voltage, LIMITED UPGRADED parts. KIT Spec is going to require the use of only the parts that come in a 2WD Buggy kit. Carbon molded parts, graphite molded parts, stiffezel molded parts, sway bars, shock springs, and shock oil change is allowed. Carbon fiber accessory parts, aluminum accessory parts, titanium accessory parts, and slipper eliminators are not allowed. This class is for entry level racers to get there foot into the door with RC racing. This will allow entry level racers to have a cost effective start to racing, and not have to run an advanced racer with a mod buggy. For racers that want to run a 21.5T MOD Buggy where everything goes, we can build a class if we have enough drivers to start the class.

- YOUTH 1/10 scale 2WD Open Class (Opened to 2WD Buggy, 2WD Stadium Truck, 2WD Short Course Truck)
- 45 + year old 2WD Buggy
- 1/10 scale 2WD 21.5T Buggy KIT SPEC RULES
RULES/REQUIREMENTS:
- 2s Lipo Batteries only for all 1/10 scale Vehicles
- Chassis Protectors REQUIRED
- Pit Mats REQUIRED
- Transponders REQUIRED (Hobby Time has rentals if you do not have one)
- 3 Classes Max
- Have Fun!
COST:
- Adults 1st Class is $50, 2nd Class is $45, 3rd Class is $45
- Youth 1st Class is $45, 2nd Class is $40, 3rd Class is $40
