Want to learn some carpentry basics?Come and join us to learn fundamental carpentry techniques and create a beautiful stool to take home!
No previous experience is necessary. Learn to use a range of woodworking tools and set up your own toolbox at home so that you can use at home what you have learnt in class.
You will learn about some basic principles that are fundamental to all carpentry and joinery work, including learning to make and use a 'bridle' joint, which is one of a variety of wood working joints.
You will learn about it's application, so you can transfer what you've learnt to other projects at home. You will also learn and practice the use of a variety of hand tools, like the chisel, different hand saws, combination square, marking gauge, sliding bevel and a variety of jigs for example.
All materials are included.
